This website is specifically designed as a free resource to help anyone who is transitioning into the rapidly growing Health Information Technology field. This website will provide visitors with links to numerous public resources that will help guide visitors to current and important information relating to Health IT. This may be especially useful to people who have little or no experience in Health IT and/or may even be students in one of the federally funded HITECH Workforce Development programs.

Many of the resource links you will find on this site include:
  • Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), including related programs like Regional Extension Centers, Health Information Exchanges, and Beacon Community Program.
  • Educational Resources, including links to the Health IT College Consortia, University-based training, Competency and Certifications.
  • Networking Resources, including Employment Listings, Professional Organizations, and Social Media.
  • Events and Webinars, including those sponsored by the government as well as many provided by vendors.  Most of these events are FREE of charge and provide a wealth of information.
Lastly, this website will stay Lean and Mean.  That is, there will be no advertising, minimal fluff, and maximum substance.  In other words, this website serves as a Resource and a Tool for the HITECH Workforce of tomorrow.  If you have any suggestion on how this website can better serve its intended audiance, we want to hear about it.  Feel free to Contact Us with your suggestions.
